At Birdview, we believe that responsible innovation starts with people. Founded in 2022 by social entrepreneur Tang Wai Wing (Bird), our consultancy helps mission-driven organizations unlock the power of AI through empathy-driven design and collaborative problem-solving. Drawing from over a decade of NGO leadership and advanced training at Stanford and Chicago Booth, we bring deep expertise in digital transformation, human-centered design, and ethical AI integration.

Meet The Founder
Tang Wai Wing (Bird) is a social entrepreneur, educator, and digital transformation advocate who has spent over 15 years empowering communities through innovation. Before founding Birdview Consultancy, Bird co-founded VolTra, a leading NGO in Hong Kong known for its international volunteer programs and creative community-building initiatives. Under his leadership, VolTra grew from a grassroots idea into an organization serving over 10,000 beneficiaries annually, with a budget exceeding HK$12 million.

Bird’s journey blends frontline experience with global perspective. He completed the Executive Program in Social Entrepreneurship at Stanford and earned an EMBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, deepening his expertise in leadership, design thinking, and AI-driven innovation.
Today, Bird channels his passion for social good into Birdview helping nonprofits, educators, and forward-thinking teams embrace technology with purpose. Whether leading workshops or developing AI prototypes, he remains committed to making innovation accessible, ethical, and deeply human.
2009
VolTra Begins
Bird co-founds VolTra, a Hong Kong NGO focused on international volunteer exchange and community engagement. Over time, it grows into a leading nonprofit, serving 10,000+ beneficiaries annually with a HK$12M+ budget.
2019
Stanford Social Entrepreneurship Program
Bird completes the Executive Program in Social Entrepreneurship at Stanford Graduate School of Business, deepening his understanding of innovation in the nonprofit space.
2021
Chicago Booth EMBA
Graduates from the Executive MBA program at the University of Chicago Booth, expanding his leadership and strategic thinking in data-driven transformation.
2022
Birdview Consultancy is Founded
Drawing on over a decade of NGO leadership and global training, Bird launches Birdview Consultancy to help nonprofits and educational institutions harness AI for good.

Launch of AI Workshops & Prototypes
